UCT has signed Memoranda of Cooperation with several universities and institutions of higher learning for the provision of services with the view student and staff mobility.
For teaching, research and community services including further training of staff, UCT has agreements with the following universities:

UCT cooperates with AGIAMONDO and French Catholic NGO Fidesco, where the two institutions send volunteers in different areas to respond the requests from the Archdiocese of Dili and UCT.
In April 2024 UCT signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Indomed Educare a leading MBBS abroad Consultancy from India for upgrading UCT medical study program to incorporate MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery), a combined program of two different degree and rewarded together during practice. It is envisaged that the program will bring international students from India to study at UCT.
UCT is also member of a number of associations including The Association of Southeast and East Asian Catholic Colleges and Universities (ASEACCU) a regional association affiliated to the International Federation of Catholic Universities (IFCU); and FORGES (Forum of Management of Higher Education in Portuguese Speaking Countries and Regions).
